MOTHER'S DAY

With A gone all weekend, I wasn't expecting much for Mother's Day (well, other than I was told a few days ago to NOT clean Jackson's closet because a present was hiding!).  At 6:30 AM (yes, this is sleeping in), JP and AA snuck into my room whispering "Happy Mother's Day Momma!  We brought you breakfast in bed" as they handed me a granola bar and an apple.  It was one of the sweetest things they've ever done!  They NEVER go downstairs without me in the morning … so I was very surprised that they managed to sneak down and come up with this breakfast without any prompting.  (I wonder who had the idea - I'd love to have heard that conversation!).

We sat in bed and opened beautiful hand made cards and opened gifts of necklaces handpicked by AA at the mall.  They were so happy to watch me.  I was so happy to watch them.

I definitely earn my gray hairs from these kiddos - but I wouldn't want it any other way!  I am so thankful to be their momma!
