The one downfall of a summer birthday is not being able to celebrate your special day with your classmates while school is in session. Typically, the "Half" Birthday does the trick; but, not for JP! His half birthday is Christmas Day! So when his Kindergarten teacher asked when he wanted to celebrate his birthday, he replied "how about December 3rd?"
And so it is! JP was lucky enough to have A join him for lunch and story time.
JP came home with chocolate on his face from the Vikings cupcakes he brought in, a crown on his head and the most adorable birthday book made by all of his classmates! Happy half birthday buddy!
