We found the real Santa again this year - he now perches in a local toy store instead of the mall. No long lines, no forced photo packages. Just a relaxing place to let the Spirit of Christmas come alive.
AA put the finishing touches on her letter to Santa while JP was eager to stick his in the mailbox.
We weren't too optimistic about capturing a photo of all three kids on Santa's lap this year. Although Baby J loves shouting Aaanta (Santa) and Ho Ho Ho, I wasn't expecting him to cuddle up to Santa's beard like he did last year.
With my camera in hand, I let A bring the kids to Santa. Baby J didn't cry, but he immediately wanted to be held:
There's nothing that a little photo cropping can't do!:
Eventually he hopped off A's lap but still held his distance.
The Big Kids were totally star struck by Santa. AA twisted her hair and couldn't formulate cohesive sentences while JP asked us what he wanted- he told Santa he couldn't remember the name! JP's voice was shaky as we spoke. Adorable! This may very well be the last Christmas he believes.
After conversing a few minutes, Santa cast his verdict: Nice List for all!
and a High Five for Baby J!
