Both JP and AA came home Monday asking what our "fire rescue plan" was … I made one up on the fly, then later informed our neighbors they were included in our plan.
Both JP and AA asked how they could dial 911 … time to actually purchase a cheap phone and hook up to our land line … I know that this was included in the rip-off deal we signed up for with our cable last year. I guess my cellphone isn't so reliable!
Both JP and AA asked if we had a smoke detector on each floor of our house AND in each bedroom. Check.
And both JP and AA have been playing Fire and Rescue all week (including wearing fireman costumes and hats to the park each night).
Although both JP and AA had a Fire Fighter School Visit, I took the kids to the nearby Fire Hall Open House tonight.
Move over, Daddy … suddenly being a FireFighter is WAY more cool than a pilot (well, at least for this week!).
