PRESCHOOL

Finally!  For the last two weeks, AA has been counting the days until her school starts  … this whole Kindergarten thing for her older brother has been difficult for her!  Finally, she has a teacher to call her own!

The truth is, I've been counting down the days for preschool to begin.  Considering, well, it's only been about TWO WEEKS since we've had an actual plan for her preschool.  (The short story involves A and I signing AA up for a new 5 day/week afternoon program at her old preschool back in January; notified in July that the class may be cancelled due to under enrollment; notified in early August that the class still wasn't a guarantee - and there were not other back up options at other preschools; called mid August and forced to make a decision in a few hours if we were okay with AA being the only girl in a 4 kid class; and called by the school principal two weeks ago and asked to take a "Leap of Faith" that this class would be a go if I committed … please don't ask for the long version.)

AA is in a class of only four kids - two girls and two boys.  One of the boys is Brayden, her "first" friend (as she always reminds me).  I'm so excited to see what this year will bring for my spunky gal!
