RECITAL

Show time!

Finally the Big Day is here.  AA and her best friend Gwen have been practicing their two minute dance for the last several months.  Their song- an upscale orchestra version (without words) to Frozen's song Do you want to build a snowman?- just so happens to be on AA's karaoke machine … so I've heard the song BLARING many times … but AA never wants to dance for me.  

But let it be known, that this gal is NOT a shy dancer.  After watching her in dress rehearsal yesterday and again in todays performance - on a BIG stage in front of hundreds of people - this lil' dancer is quite confident.  There is a reason why she was placed front and center!  The other twelve dancers in her class had their eyes fixed on AA's moves.  A few times she actually tapped another girl on the shoulder and pointed which way she was meant to move next.  Oh my.  And all the while, AA had this big smile (somewhat fake!) on her face.   A true performer!

I was one proud mommy today! (And I think Grandpa A, T and Grandma K would agree!)
